James – All-Stars An Exhilarating Start To Season

Worcester Wolves Head Coach Paul James was thrilled to see his team qualify for the British Basketball All-Stars Championship, an event he describes as ‘an exhilarating start to the season’.

Wolves finished seventh on the BBL Standings to secure their spot at this year’s All-Stars, taking place at Copper Box Arena, London on Sunday, October 14, with tickets available now at http://allstarsbasketball.co.uk/.

At last year’s inaugural All-Stars, Wolves suffered a dramatic 37-35 defeat at the hands of DBL Sharks Sheffield but responded with a 33-20 success over Surrey Scorchers before being knocked out by Bristol Flyers.

“It was great that we made the BBL end of season play-offs, which also meant we qualified for the All-Star Championship at the start of the 2018-19 season,” said James. “It means we will have an exhilarating start to the next season too”.

The 2018 British Basketball All-Stars Championship takes place on Sunday, October 14 at Copper Box Arena, London.
